Counseling and Guidance

Counselor

Rocio Juarez, Everman Academy I’ve been a school counselor for 3 years in Everman ISD. I graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Modern Languages with a concentration in Spanish. After being a teacher in the middle and high school level for six years, I decided to obtain my school counseling certification. I am also working towards obtaining my Licensure to become a Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

I come from a wonderful family and have two very active toddlers that keeps me busy. Family is important to me, therefore I try to spend as much time with them as possible. When I am not at work I enjoy dining out at new restaurants, hiking, or traveling to new places.

As a school counselor and advocate, I provide support to our students in their academics, career, and personal/social. I believe it is important to provide support in all areas to assist our students in becoming productive and resilient students out in the community. Education is important and I am here to help our students succeed and equip them for life after high school.
